Write us an email or call us with an estimate on the amount of data you’d like to send, when you need to send it and if you require any additional services such as an extended storage period or zipping services.
BOOK UPLOAD
We will let you know, when we need your data and also send you a preliminary price quote. Once confirmed, you can bring the data to our office or book courier services, either with us directly or a provider of your choice.
CALCULATE PRICE
Once we receive your data, we will calculate the final price based on the actual amount of data and estimate the upload time based on your storage device and zipping requirements.
Upon reception, we plug your storage device physically into our server station that is connected through optical cable to the Internet. Thus we achieve an upload speed as if you where copying files directly from a physical storage device to a computer. We will then create a secure link with a secure password that we email to you and afterwards send your storage device back or have you pick it up. One can then swiftly download the files on their end, thanks to our dedicated 100 Mbit Internet connection.
In case of a complex folder structure or a simply large quantity of files, we will ZIP the data for fast decompression before upload.
- Don’t bring your original data but only a backup copy. We give no guarantee for a potential loss of your data – remember always keep multiple backups!
- ZIP your data into multiple 4 GB chunks or per shots if working with DPX/EXR sequences to save on the zipping fee.
- Use a fast USB 3.0 or eSATA disk for maximum transferring speed to our server.
- You can also bring a bare HDD or SSD that we can connect through our ports into the server.
